You’ve received Railroad Retirement Board (RRB) disability benefits for 24 months (with certain conditions). Under Age 65 Due to Specific Health Conditions: You have End-Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) and require dialysis or a kidney transplant. You have Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) and receive Social Security Disability benefits (no 24-month waiting period).
